Prices of building materials in NCR drop

RETAIL price of construction materials in the National Capital Region (NCR) posted a slight decline in September, the Philippine Statistics Authority said, largely due to lower prices in the world market.

According to its preliminary data, PSA said construction materials retail price index (CMRPI) in the NCR was 6.8 percent in September, slightly lower than the 6.9 percent posted in August, but faster than 2-percent growth rate from a year earlier.
