I MUST state that I am both humbled and elated to have been selected to receive the "1st MS Swaminathan Global Leadership Award for Sustainable Development 2022" this November 10 in New Delhi during the India International Agro Trade and Technology Fair-AgroWorld 2022 organized by the Indian Chamber for Food and Agriculture.
I see my receiving the award as timely as we continue to see borders dissolve as everyone continues to battle the emerging challenges we face as citizens of this globe.
