DA promotes brown, unpolished rice

AS part of National Rice Awareness Month this November, the Department of Agriculture (DA) is urging Filipinos to start consuming alternatives to rice and start consuming more brown rice.

Presidential Proclamation 524 declared November as National Rice Awareness Month to raise public awareness on rice, combat malnutrition and poverty, and attain rice self-sufficiency.
