Long break favors Standhardinger

BARANGAY Ginebra hopes the coming long break could give Filipino German Christian Standhardinger enough time to recover from a knee injury, which he hurt during practice prior to the Gin Kings' titanic matchup against the San Miguel Beermen last Sunday.

The 6-foot-8 hard-banging big man watched Sunday's match in civilian clothes, being a late scratch for the game, according to Ginebra coach Tim Cone.
