Mask wearing in schools strongly recommended

PEDIATRICIANS urged parents to strongly recommend the wearing of masks for their children to prevent them from getting infected with Covid-19 in classrooms.

The Department of Education earlier issued a memorandum that lifted the masking mandate in indoor spaces such as classrooms pursuant to Executive Order 7 issued by President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. that makes masking in indoor spaces voluntary.
