PSEi nearly flat, slips to 6,289.10

THE stock market ignored good news on the unemployment front on Tuesday, with the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) ending down 6.48 points, or 0.10 percent, to 6,289.10, after two days of trading in the green.

The broader All Shares lost 5.82 points, or 0.18 percent, to close at 3,307.75.
