MAYOR Juanito Agustin of Pigcawayan town, North Cotabato, is appealing to the national government to help the municipality desilt its waterways.
Agustin cited heavy siltation in rivers and tributaries as the primary reasons for the severe flooding in the town during the onslaught of Tropical Storm "Paeng."
