THE Philippine Army (PA) on Sunday said that a member of the New People's Army was killed during an operation in Agusan del Norte on Friday.
According to the statement, the 23rd Infantry "Masigasig" Battalion (23IB) under the operational control of the 402nd Infantry "Stingers" Brigade, 4th Infantry "Diamond" Division of the PA was conducting a combat operation when they encountered five rebels at Sitio Tacub, Barangay Rizal, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte on Nov. 4, 2022.
