Housing projects to spur growth – DHSUD

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program can spur economic activities in 80 allied industries of the housing sector once it is fully implemented.

In a recent Senate hearing for the 2023 budget of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar stressed the economic pump-priming potentials of the housing and real estate sector. He said there are about 80 industries allied to housing construction.
