THE remains of at least five individuals said to have been abducted and executed by the New People's Army (NPA) were discovered in a shallow grave in Santiago town, Agusan del Norte on Thursday, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said on Saturday.
This, as the military has intensified its pursuit operation against one Myrna Sularte, with aliases Iyay, Edang and Maria Malaya, the prime suspect in the killing and said to be a ranking NPA cadre in Mindanao.
