A FARMERS' group said the high inflation rate will kill the agriculture sector because of increase in raw materials, adding it will result in decline in demand, as it will affect the purchasing power of consumers due to soaring prices.
Philippine Chamber of Agriculture and Food Inc. President Danilo Fausto noted that 25 percent of the country's population are employed in the agriculture sector.
