Developing nations can slash emissions with modest investments -- World Bank

Washington, United States: Developing countries can slash their emissions with relatively modest investments, but they will need greater support from the international community, the World Bank said on Thursday (Friday in Manila).

While low-carbon pathways can bring economic gains, they require 'improved and sustained access to finance and mobilization of private capital' to meet countries' needs, the bank said in a new report.
