INTERNATIONAL press freedom watchdog Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) included the Philippines in the top 11 countries in its annual Global Impunity Index, which was released on Tuesday.
The country was ranked seventh and has been in the index for the past 15 years. It currently has 14 unsolved journalist murders between Sept. 1, 2012 and Aug. 31, 2022.
