Covid cases seen to wane further this month

(UPDATE) COVID-19 cases will continue to wane in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the surrounding areas now that the highly transmissible XBB variant has begun to peak, according to OCTA Research.

OCTA Senior Research Fellow Dr. Guido David told The Manila Times in a phone interview on Thursday he expects a continued downtrend in Covid cases for the month of November in the NCR, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) and Central Luzon.
