THE Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) on Thursday conferred the "Chief Girl Scout" title to First Lady Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos in an investiture ceremony held in Malacañang.

As prescribed by Section 7 of Republic Act 10073, also known as the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Charter of 2009, the title is bestowed upon "a woman President of the Philippines or the First Lady of the Philippines".
