PSA sees higher Q3 'palay,' corn output

PALAY (unmilled rice) and corn output could have increased in the third quarter from a year earlier, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said last week.

The estimates, detailed in an October 31 update, were disputed by a farmers' group, which claimed that high farm input prices had weighed on production.
