Govt addressing Cavite flooding – Marcos

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday said the government has put in place a long-term solution to perennial flooding in Cavite, one of the provinces hardest hit by Tropical Storm 'Paeng.'

'We have a long-term plan, so that even if there is excess water, the soil won't erode and landslides which have become our problem won't reach us,' Marcos said during the distribution of financial aid to the beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations program in Noveleta, Cavite.
