THE Philippine Council for NGO (PCNC) is the duly recognized body that certifies nongovernment organizations (NGOs) that meet the standards of good governance and qualify as donee institutions. In May this year, the PCNC issued revised guidelines and standards for accreditation. They evaluate entities on six areas: organizational purpose; governance and leadership; program/operations management; collaboration; administration; and financial management and sustainability.
