DOMESTIC liquidity (M3) fell in September from a month earlier even as bank lending increased, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) data released last week showed.
M3 — the broader measure of money in the financial system — contracted by 0.2 percent to P15.4 trillion from August. Year on year, it rose by 5.0 percent, slowing from a revised 6.7 percent in August.
