The Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service (TOWNS) held a formal ceremony on October 25 to honor its eleven awardees for this triennial event.

Nine of the awardees received their citations in person: Ani Almario (Education/Entrepreneurship), Rubilen Amit (Sports), Dr. Pia Bagamasbad (Molecular Biology), Dr. Beverly Ho (Medicine/Public Health), Dr. Erika Fille Legara (Data Science), Ana Patricia Non (Community Service), Anna Rosario Oposa (Marine Ecology Conservation), Gina Romero (Women Empowerment through ICT) and Dr. Aletta Yniguez (Marine Science). Two of the awardees Keisha Mayuga (Transport Planning) and Pia Ranada (Investigative Journalism) are out of the country pursuing higher studies. Their awards were received by family members.
