Typhoon-stricken Aklan gets aid

AKLAN Second District Rep. Teodorico Haresco Jr. on Saturday expressed his gratitude to Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and Rep. Allan Ty of the LPG Marketers Association (LPGMA) party-list for "responding swiftly" by providing financial and food relief to 11,214 people in Aklan affected by heavy floods and landslides due to Typhoon "Paeng."

"We are grateful to Speaker Romualdez and LPGMA party-list Representative Ty, both trusted colleagues and reliable leaders in the House of Representatives, for their compassion and speedy response to the situation of the Aklanons," Haresco said.
