Severe tropical storm 'Paeng' makes landfall in Bicol, Signal No. 3 up in parts of Luzon

SIGNAL No. 3 was raised over most of Luzon areas as 'Paeng' developed into a severe tropical storm while making its first landfall in the Bicol Region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday.

In its early morning bulletin, Pagasa said Signal No. 3 is up over Camarines Norte, the northern portion of Camarines Sur (Ragay, Lupi, Sipocot, Libmanan, Cabusao, Magarao, Calabanga, Tinambac, Siruma, Goa, Tigaon, San Jose, Lagonoy, Garchitorena, Presentacion, Caramoan, Saglay, Ocampo, Pili, Bombon, Naga City, Del Gallego, Canaman, Camaligan, Milaor, Gainza, Pamplona), and the northern and eastern portions of Quezon (Tagkawayan, Guinayangan and Calauag, Quezon, Lopez, Gumaca, Plaridel, Atimonan, Mauban, Perez, Alabat, Real, Infanta, General Nakar and Sampaloc) including Pollilo Islands in Luzon.
