CEBU City Mayor Michael Rama has declared the suspension of classes in all levels for Friday, amid the declaration of a yellow rainfall warning in the area due to Tropical Storm "Paeng."
"Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 37 Guidelines on Cancellation and Suspension of Classes particularly Paragraph 4 thereof, and in consonance with Office of the Mayor, Cebu City Executive Order No. 1, Series of 2022, as Local Chief Executive, I am declaring CANCELLATION of classes in all levels," Rama said in a memo posted by the Cebu City Public Information Office in its Facebook page on Friday.
