DAM officials on Saturday announced the release of water from Magat Dam in Isabela amid the expected impact of Severe Tropical Storm "Paeng" in the affected areas.
In an advisory, the National Irrigation Administration-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-MARIIS) said it opened one of the dam's gates at 8 a.m. Saturday.
