DA rolls out Green Revolution program

THE Department of Agriculture (DA) has launched an initiative aimed at increasing the production and supply of fresh fruits and vegetables, Malacañang said Thursday.

The DA and the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) rolled out Green Revolution 2.0: Plants for Bountiful Barangays Movement (Luntiang Ani ng Mamamayan) last October 26 at the Rizal Park in Manila.

Senior Undersecretary Domingo F. Panganiban graced the kick-off ceremony, which was also attended by other DA and BPI officials, representatives of the local government units of Metro Manila and other government agencies. Photo from Department of Agriculture Website
