Manila cited 'best tourism oriented' LGU

MANILA has been hailed as the best tourism oriented local government unit (LGU) in the Philippines.

The award was bestowed on the city during the 17th Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) Pearl Awards, a competition participated in by several cities and municipalities in the country, held on Thursday night in Tagaytay.
