TUGUEGARAO CITY: Cagayan Province was placed under a state of calamity on Monday with the approval of the provincial board following P1.1-B damage wrought on infrastructure, agriculture and fisheries due to the past typhoons "Maymay," "Neneng," "Obet," and the shear line.
Meeting in a special session to tackle the resolution of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, the board unanimously approved the declaration as 20 towns were affected in the three districts of the province.
