Painter dedicates artwork to farmers

A PAINTER from Occidental Mindoro has dedicated his art masterpiece to farmers who have ceased farming due to the increasing price of agricultural commodities and the decreasing farmgate price of palay or unhusked rice.

Nestor Abayon Jr., a 25-year-old painter from Rizal in Occidental Mindoro, told The Manila Times that he is offering his painting 'The Last Harvest' to all struggling Filipino farmers, including his parents.
