Mactan-Cebu airport resumes partial operations

The Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) has resumed operations but on a limited capacity, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said Tuesday.

CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio said that airport operations will be from 'sunrise to sunset' following the incident on Sunday night when a Korean Air plane overshot the runway.
