Ginebra hands Magnolia first loss

Barangay Ginebra completed its rise from a 15-point deficit behind import Justin Brownlee and the spark off the bench by Jamie Malonzo as the Kings handed Magnolia its first loss via a 103-97 win in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup Sunday night at the Mall of Arena.

Watched by over 12,000 screaming fans at the Pasay arena, Brownlee put on a show for the horde of Ginebra supporters, including a step-back jump shot with 79 seconds to go to give the Kings a 99-97 lead.
