Australia begins relief efforts after floods

SYDNEY: Some eastern states of Australia have started recovery measures to minimize the negative impacts of the flood crisis.

The state government of New South Wales (NSW) on Friday announced a new agricultural commodities permit, under which farmers can apply to have heavy vehicle access to all local roads in regional NSW.
