DPWH: Damaged span replaced in 2 weeks

BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan: A post on the social media page of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 1 (Ilocos) over the weekend said a temporary bridge will be finished in two weeks to replace the old one that collapsed on Oct. 20, 2022.

Jocelyn Oamar, DPWH Region 1 maintenance management section chief, on the post said the 37.70-meter bailey bridge will be constructed over the fallen span using steel panels as a temporary measure to enable light vehicles to cross a part of the Agno River.
