(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will not lift the national state of calamity just yet because the coronavirus emergency is not over.
Lifting the declaration would also mean halting measures to address the pandemic as mandated by laws passed at the height of the global health crisis, the President said at the sideline of the 48th Philippine Business Conference and Exposition (PBC&E) at the Manila Hotel last Thursday.
