KAMPALA, Uganda: The death toll in an Ebola epidemic declared last month in Uganda has climbed to 44, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a news briefing in the Swiss city of Geneva that there had been 60 confirmed and 20 probable cases, with 44 deaths and 25 recoveries.
