9 fishermen rescued in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY: Nine fisherfolk were rescued safely after strong waves pummeled their three boats off Claveria waters in Claveria, Cagayan, on October 18, according to the Philippine Coast Guard-Claveria Substation.

Coast Guard David Miguel of the Claveria Substation said they immediately responded after the three boats capsized one after the other because of strong waves and gusty winds.
