(UPDATED) JOEL Escorial, the self-confessed killer of radio commentator Percival "Percy Lapid" Mabasa, could end up as a state witness if he qualifies for the government's Witness Protection Program (WPP).
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla on Thursday said it is possible Escorial could be admitted to the WPP if he provides vital information that could lead to the identification of the mastermind in the killing of Lapid.
