THE Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) snapped a multi-day rally by plunging 1.5 percent on Thursday, losing 92.32 points to close at 6,055.99.

Analysts said investors chose to take profits given a rise in US Treasury yields, continued expectations of another massive Fed rate hike and the latest Philippine balance of payments (BoP) data.
