Signal No. 1 up in 3 Northern Luzon areas as 'Obet' maintains strength

SIGNAL No. 1 is up in at least three areas in Northern Luzon as Tropical Depression 'Obet' maintains its strength while moving over the Philippine Sea, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Thursday.

According to Pagasa weather specialist Daniel James Villamil, Signal No. 1 is up over Batanes, Babuyan Islands and the north-eastern portion of mainland Cagayan (Santa Ana and Gonzaga).
