BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya: The Bugkalot tribe started getting good results after almost three decades of fighting for their rights over the operation of the government-sanctioned Casecnan Multipurpose Irrigation and Power Project (CMIPP) situated within their ancestral domain.
The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) declared that the much-awaited peaceful dialogue on Tuesday, October 18, among concerned sectors related to the CMIPP operation "will now signal a fresh start for the Bugkalots to secure their rights for their concerns as an impacted community."
