USTP products show promise for fishers

THE Mindanao University of Science and Technology (USTP) is pushing for the wider adoption of two products for coastal fishers that were developed by start-ups of the university.

During the recent Renewable Energy Congress and Exhibit, engineer and professor Diogenes Armanado Pascua of USTP revealed the two products as the Smartbox and the Powertube, both powered by solar energy.
