IT was another date with history on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, when SM City Tanza opened its doors to the public as SM Prime's 80th mall. It was also the seventh super mall in the historic and bustling province after SM City Bacoor, SM City Dasmarinas, SM City Molino, SM City Rosario, SM City Trece Martires and SM Center Imus. SM also has had Marketmall in Dasmarinas for some time now.

Strategically located in a 86,718-square meter site along Antero Soriano Highway, SM City Tanza began serving shoppers in the northwestern areas of Cavite as well as in nearby Batangas. More than that, it became a catalyst for employment and business opportunities in the area.
