Cagayan town under state of calamity

TUGUEGARAO CITY: Local officials placed the town of Santa Ana in Cagayan under a state of calamity on Monday due to the destruction of farms and other properties caused by Typhoon 'Neneng.'

The declaration was based on the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council to speed up the rehabilitation and assistance of affected villagers.
