THE USS Ronald Reagan docked in Manila Bay on Friday, October 14, as part of Washington's commitment to its friends, partners and allies in the Indo-Pacific region.
Christened in Newport News, Virginia on March 4, 2001 by former first lady Nancy Reagan, this ship was commissioned by the US Navy on July 12, 2003 in Norfolk, Virginia. It is named after the 40th president of the United States who served from 1981 to 1989.
