NINE illegal miners were arrested after they were caught extracting "escombro" minerals at Sitio Batia, Barangay Lambakin, Marilao on October 12, Bulacan Environment and Natural Resources Office (Benro) head Julius Victor Degala said on Monday.
Degala said the operation was jointly conducted by the Benro, Marilao Police Station and the 4th Maneuver Platoon of 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company.
