Butterboy butters up everyday brunches with drag

A croissant bakeshop in Quezon City is reinventing brunch and merienda with a drag show theme.

Located at 81 Basa, Butteryboy greets customers with a large pride flag at the entrance. The bungalow doors open to a cozy interior that smells of fresh pastries and brewed coffee. This warm welcome is usually accompanied by the sight of drag queens taking center stage in song, dance or speech, much different from the dimly-lit nightclubs we'd expect these performances to be in.
