Phoenix shocks Ginebra

Phoenix held on for three quarters before making a spirited run in the final period to shock Barangay Ginebra, 101-93, in the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Trailing by three points entering the last period, the Fuel Masters leaned on the timely baskets of import Kaleb Wesson, Javee Mocon, Tyler Tio, Encho Serrano as well as returning veteran Sean Anthony to register their first back-to-back wins for the conference and improve to 2-3.
