Troops capture NPA camp in Cotabato

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Government troops captured an encampment of the communist rebel group New People's Army (NPA) after a clash in the township of Lake Sebu in Mindanao's South Cotabato province, officials said on Thursday, October 13.

The officials also said the Wednesday fighting in the village called Ned lasted about 20 minutes, but there were no reports of casualties from both sides.
