Recovery plan prepared for Negros 'war' evacuees

BACOLOD CITY: The provincial government of Negros Occidental and the local government unit of Himamaylan City joined hands to formulate a recovery plan for residents affected by clashes between government forces and suspected communist rebels in Barangay Carabalan, Himamaylan City.

'We are on top of this. We just need the support of our provincial government and national agencies,' Mayor Raymund Tongson said on Thursday.
