SAN MANUEL, Pangasinan: After three years, tilapia caught from the reservoir of the San Roque Dam is still not fit for human consumption.
Tom Valdez, San Roque Power Corp. vice president for corporate social responsibility, said based on test results from samples taken on Aug. 31, 2022, a small tilapia had an arsenic level of 7.1 parts per million, a medium-sized had 6.5 ppm and a large tilapia had 17 ppm.
