'Neneng' maintains strength, may reach tropical storm category

THE state-run weather agency said on Friday that Tropical Depression 'Neneng' maintained its strength as it is forecast to make landfall or may pass 'very close' to Babuyan Islands over the weekend.

At the same time, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Neneng will likely intensify while moving over the Philippine Sea and may reach tropical storm category on Saturday.
